"Platform" means AlbertaRealEstateExamPass.ca, learn.albertarealestateexampass.ca, and any related study materials, quizzes, mock exams, practice questions, explanations, progress tracking tools, emails, downloads, or services.
"User," "you," and "your" mean the person who purchases access to or uses the Platform.
"We," "us," and "our" mean the operator of AlbertaRealEstateExamPass.ca.
"RECA" means the Real Estate Council of Alberta.
"Exam Prep Product" means a paid access product designed to help users prepare for a specific Alberta licensing exam.
Alberta Real Estate Exam Pass is an independent supplemental exam-prep platform.
We are not a RECA-approved licensing course provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by RECA.
The Platform does not replace any required licensing education, course, exam, authorization, or eligibility requirement imposed by RECA or any other regulatory body.
The Platform is designed to help users prepare for licensing exams through study guides, practice questions, practice quizzes, mock exams, explanations, and progress tracking.
We do not guarantee that use of the Platform will result in passing any exam, obtaining a licence, being approved by RECA, or meeting any regulatory requirement.
Any money-back guarantee is limited strictly to the eligibility requirements set out in Section 10.
The Platform does not provide actual RECA exam questions.
All practice questions, mock exam questions, explanations, and study materials are original exam-prep materials created for study and practice purposes.
Materials are built around current RECA exam specifications and blueprints where applicable, but we do not represent that any question, answer, topic, structure, wording, or weighting will appear on any actual RECA exam.
Access is provided for the access period purchased. Available access periods may include 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months.
Your access period begins when your account access is activated, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your inbox, spam folder, or junk folder for access instructions.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree not to share, sell, transfer, sublicense, publish, distribute, or otherwise provide your account access to another person. Each purchase is for one individual user only.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being shared, misused, copied, scraped, resold, or used in violation of these Terms.

All Platform content is owned by or licensed to the operator of AlbertaRealEstateExamPass.ca. This includes study guides, practice questions, mock exam questions, explanations, layouts, graphics, text, design, structure, scoring logic, and other materials.
Purchasing access gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform during your access period. It does not transfer ownership of any content or intellectual property.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Your use of those processors is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Launch pricing, promotional pricing, discounts, and access terms may change at any time. Taxes, if applicable, may be added at checkout.

Approved refunds will be limited to the amount actually paid for the applicable Exam Prep Product, excluding any non-refundable third-party fees.
Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, payments are non-refundable once access has been provided. No refund is provided because:
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
When your access period expires, your ability to view study guides, complete quizzes, attempt mock exams, review explanations, or access progress tracking may end.
You may purchase additional access if available. Previous quiz results, progress records, or account data may not always be preserved after expiry.
We aim to provide reliable access to the Platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, hosting issues, payment processor issues, security events, or circumstances beyond our control.
We may update, modify, replace, remove, or reorganize Platform content at any time.
We make reasonable efforts to keep materials current and aligned with applicable exam specifications and blueprints. However, licensing requirements, exam specifications, regulatory materials, and exam practices may change.
You are responsible for confirming current licensing, education, exam, and eligibility requirements directly with RECA and any required education provider.
The Platform is for exam-preparation purposes only. Nothing on the Platform is legal advice, regulatory advice, brokerage advice, financial advice, or professional practice advice.
You should not rely on Platform content as a substitute for applicable legislation, regulations, RECA materials, brokerage policies, legal advice, or professional judgment.
The Platform may track account activity, quiz attempts, mock exam attempts, scores, completion data, login activity, and related usage information. This information may be used to provide access, track progress, administer the money-back guarantee, provide support, improve Platform content, and protect against misuse.
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
The Platform may rely on third-party services including hosting providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics tools, and other technology providers.
We are not responsible for third-party service outages, delays, errors, security incidents, or policy changes. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
By purchasing access or creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your purchase, account access, platform use, support requests, expiry notices, and important service updates.
Marketing emails, if used, may include unsubscribe options where required.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, share access, attempt to copy or distribute materials, submit false refund information, or engage in conduct that may harm the Platform or other users.
Termination for violation of these Terms does not entitle you to a refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost exam fees, lost licensing opportunities, lost business, or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable Exam Prep Product.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of content, your sharing of account access, or your infringement of any rights of another person.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Alberta, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
